Online travel reservations, an industry with $300 Billion in annual sales is one of the most competitive online arenas.
Yet, its hardly an efficient one. Try comparing the going prices for international flights, get discounted hotel rooms in Europe or organize a group trip, and see how disinformation and non-competitive forces make this huge market arena a lagging one in terms of innovation.
When innovation does take place, it hardly ever happens in the reservations market, but stops at the trip planning , trip sharing or post trip reviews. These are great niches but they are hardly where the money is.
Our ideas and projects focus on reservation dilemmas - problems who’s solutions are usually hard to implement but once done well, are highly valuable.
